Lyme disease or borreliosis is considered to be one of the fastest spreading illnesses in the world. Gram negative spirochetel bacteria from the genus Borrelia, which are collectively known as Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato group cause Lyme disease.


The RealLine Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato kits detects the B. burgdorferi sensu lato group (Borrelia afzelii, Borrelia garinii, Borrelia burgdorferi sensu stricto) DNA in clinical samples by real-time PCR. The kits are designed for in vitro diagnostics and provides qualitative detection.
